Day 1: This trip takes in the coastal country of Victoria's South East. We get to travel through some great country, where the scenery is nothing short of spectacular. Leaving Wangaratta we head South East passing Through Omeo where gold was discovered back in 1851. Just before our turn off to Croajingolong National Park, we have a quick stop to top up the fuel tanks, and our food supply. We then make our way to our first campsite down beside the beach where we will stay for 2 nights.

Day 3: After packing up camp we make our way to our next camp at Wingan Inlet. There is plenty to do here, for those who enjoy walking, you can go on a 3km Nature walk where you get to see a vast array of Waterbirds & picturesque views of the Coast line. You may prefer to do some fishing in the Surf, Estuaries or Rivers or maybe just relax on the Beach
Day 4: Moving on to our next overnight stay we fill in our day with many River crossings & bog holes ( easy track), stopping for a walk to a secluded beach which features a Bloodwood dominant Forest, Melaleuca & an amazing variety of Wildflowers during Spring & Early Summer.

Day 5: Up early today, leaving Croajingolong National Park we head back to the Highway arriving at our first destination, a self guided Nature drive which was once part of the part of the highway used by horse & carriage until the 1960’s. Next we make our way to the Spectacular Cabbage Tree Palms usually found further North. After a pleasant stroll around we make our way to our final overnight camp at Buchan.
Day 6: After Breakfast and packing up we have time to go on a 45 minute guided tour through an ancient cave formed by underground Rivers cutting through the Limestone rock. There are Walks around the area for those who do not wish to go on a Cave Tour. We then depart Buchan and make our back to Wangaratta, arriving late afternoon.
