This tour you around some of the Gold Mining areas in
the local district. We visit a Gold Dredge that was used back in the
1930’s and still very much in tact, take a tour through an Historic
underground Tunnel that was mined back in the 1860’s. Another highlight of
this trip is visiting a Lavender farm, where you can wander through the
gardens and learn all about its many uses. Our last stop is at Victoria’s
best preserved Gold Town where gold was discovered back in 1852. Here we
allow you an hour to leisurely look around before departing to Wangaratta. |
